NYPD: Man leaps through window after stealing comic book in Times Square

TIMES SQUARE, Manhattan -- A man is in custody in Manhattan after he jumped out of a second-floor window of a comic book store.

Police say the 24-year-old was trying to steal a comic book at Midtown Comics on 40th Street and 7th Avenue.

While trying to elude the store security, officers say he jumped from the window.

The man was taken into custody and was taken to Bellevue Hospital with minor injuries.
