DURHAM (WTVD) -- If you're looking for a bargain, you should check out the Junior League of Durham and Orange Counties 78th Annual Bargain Sale on Saturday, October 7 at the National Guard Armory in Durham.

The Bargain Sale features a wide variety of clothing, accessories, housewares, toys, furniture and much more at greatly reduced prices. Money raised by the Bargain Sale helps to fund various Junior League of Durham and Orange Counties initiatives.

Bargain Sale is open to all, with community members ages 55 and older receiving exclusive, free access between 8-9 a.m. Starting at 9 a.m., the sale is open to the general public and admission is $1 per person. At 1:15 p.m., the "half-off sale" begins, then, at 2:30 p.m., the famous "bag sale" begins. At that time, guests pay $5, are given a plastic bag, and may take home as many items as they can fit in their bag.
