WWII veteran celebrates 95th birthday at Durham Harris Teeter

DURHAM, N.C. -- World War II Navy veteran Frank Knapp II celebrated his 95th birthday on Sunday.

He's been a longtime customer of the Harris Teeter on Hillsborough Road in Durham.

The breadman at the story said a party was the least he could do for the man who served our country.

But this wasn't his first birthday bash at a grocery store.

Knapp celebrated his 93rd birthday at the same store.
