Former fiancé turns heartbreak into goodwill

A groom to-be did not have a happy holiday to remember, not after his fiance dumped him the day after Christmas.

Now John Whitbred is turning the heartbreak into an opportunity to help others.

The resident of Britain is auctioning off the two-week honeymoon he would have spent with his now former fiance on eBay.

It's a 2-week vacation to the Dominican Republic. Whitbred said he already paid in full for the trip.

He needs someone to go along with him. He is donating all the money raised to a British men's cancer charity.
