FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- Authorities in Fayetteville are asking for the public's help in identifying two suspects who robbed a pizza restaurant at gunpoint this week.
Just after 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, police say the two suspects walked into the Little Caesar's Pizza in the 3600 block of Ramsey Street and demanded money from the registers.
Police said surveillance video showed one of the suspects going behind the counter while the second suspect stood by the front door. Once the suspects took an undetermined amount of money, they fled from the scene, according to officials.
Authorities said they are trying to identify the suspects who "exhibited dangerous behaviors." The suspects should be considered armed and dangerous.
The first suspect is described as an African American man who had a bandana over his face and was last seen wearing a white shirt and dark shorts.
The second suspect was described as having a black shirt covering his head, which made it difficult to identify his features. He was last seen wearing a purple shirt.
Anyone with information about the robbery or the identity of the suspects is asked to contact Detective A. Stevens with the Fayetteville Police Department at (910) 391-0053 or Crimestoppers at (910) 483-TIPS (8477). Crimestoppers information can also be submitted electronically, by visiting http://fay-nccrimestoppers.org and completing the anonymous online tip sheet or by text-a-tip on your mobile device by sending a message to 274637 (in the text box type "4Tip" followed by your message).
