FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- The Fayetteville Police Department Cold Case Sexual Assault Unit arrested 57-year-old Dallas Walker Tuesday and charged him with three sex assaults that occurred between 2005 and 2009.
Fayetteville's cold case team has been reviewing hundreds of old unsolved cases looking for new breakthroughs. Detectives said there were similarities between the assaults that stood out and they were able to find the victims and put together new cases against Walker.
He was already a registered sex offender from another case in 2012.
Walker is now charged with two counts of first-degree kidnapping, two counts of second-degree rape, four counts of second-degree sex offense, and assault by strangulation.
Bond was set at $800,000.
