Hit and run suspect crashes car while fleeing from police in Raleigh

RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- A suspect hit a pedestrian and then crashed his car while running from police in Raleigh on Wednesday morning.

It happened on Six Forks Road near Anson Way.

Raleigh police said the driver was not seriously injured.

Officials have not released the name of the pedestrian or the suspect at this time.
