Man pulled from Durham County sinkhole

DURHAM COUNTY (WTVD) -- Durham County emergency workers pulled out a man who fell into a sinkhole at Falls Lake Sunday morning.

A fisherman heard the man's calls for help and called 911.

Redwood Road was closed in October where it crosses over Falls Lake after the hole opened up. Pictures from Chopper 11 then showed warning fencing and cones were set up to keep people back.

It's not clear how the man - who has not been identified - fell in.

He was suffering from the cold and was taken by ambulance to the hospital.
