Frontier Communications adding 200 jobs in Durham

DURHAM -- Frontier Communications is expanding in Durham, investing $4.3 million and adding 200 new jobs.

Gov. Pat McCrory and other state officials announced Monday that the new positions will provide advanced support for Frontier customers nationwide. Frontier is the nation's fourth-largest provider of telecommunications services.

The company has almost 19,000 employees in the United States and already employs 250 in North Carolina.

The new jobs in Durham will be added during the next five years.
