Kylee Wideman has always dreamed of being a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader. Next year Wideman, a senior at N.C. State, plans to go to Texas to live her dream.

On Saturday night, along with her fellow dance team members, she got to have a taste of that dream.

The 34-member squad from N.C. State was voted the best college dance team in a competition hosted by the show "Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team," the News and Observer reports.

During the halftime show of the Cowboys game against the Jets, Wideman and her team got their chance to perform with the Dallas cheerleaders.

"This is such an amazing opportunity and I feel like I am just living in my dreams this week!" Wideman said before the game. "We are all ready to show Dallas our North Carolina spirit and can't wait to support the Cowboys."

The team will return to North Carolina on Sunday, but Wideman hopes to go back to Texas soon.

She said she will go to tryouts for the Cowboys cheerleaders in the spring.
