RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- Many across central North Carolina got a measurable snowfall, a first since 2022.
RDU officially got less than an inch of snow, along with 0.07" of ice. Areas closer to the Virginia border saw the highest amount of snow around 3 to 4 inches.

Road conditions throughout ABC11's viewing area have been impacted by freezing rain and snow.
We talked with officials at the North Carolina Department of Transportation about the storm's aftermath, cleanup and particular trouble spots on roadways.

Precipitation has ended for most areas Saturday morning, but roads may still be slick across central North Carolina.
An SUV slammed into a utility pole Saturday morning and took out some power lines in Raleigh.
It happened at White Oak Road and Webb Street. This is behind the Carolina Country Club.
ABC11 is told the car is severely damaged, but the driver is expected to be okay.
The road was blocked overnight, and crews are working to repair the damaged pole.
The icy conditions led to hazardous road conditions and a wreck involving numerous cars on I-87 South toward Raleigh near Wendell on Friday night.
The entire route was hard to see and lanes were slick, creating dangerous scenarios for drivers.
ABC11 spoke to one driver involved in that crash.
Crystal Avila, of Zebulon, was headed to Raleigh She said she saw a car in front of her slide and before she knew it, she lost control of her minivan and couldn't brake
Avila was shaken but not hurt She had advice for viewers that she wishes she had heeded - stay home, don't drive.
ABC11 has reached out to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol for more information on the crash and is waiting to hear back
