BRUNSWICK COUNTY, N.C. (WTVD) -- A North Carolina Powerball winner's boyfriend is in jail again, this time under a $12 million bond, according to the Brunswick County Detention Center website.

ABC11 affiliate WWAY News said Marie Holmes' boyfriend Lamarr McDow, 31, was arrested for violating his pretrial release for previous drug-related charges.

McDow has been arrested several times before and after Holmes hit the jackpot.

McDow was arrested in Nov. 2014 on heroin charges and held under a $3 million bond. Prosecutors say Holmes bonded him out in March just one week after her lottery win.

In late October, McDow was arrested under a charge of possession of a firearm by a felon.
