3 sentenced for murder of Fayetteville man

FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- Three people admitted in court Thursday to killing a 73-year-old Army veteran.



Twenty-year old Tracy Williams, 20-year-old Samuel Davis, and 23-year-old Joseph Davis pleaded guilty to second-degree murder, common law robbery, and conspiracy to commit murder in the April 19, 2014 robbery and subsequent murder of 73-year-old Clemasee Guyton.



Williams was sentenced to 20-25 years. Samuel Davis and Joseph Davis were sentenced to 24 to 32 years.



Guyton was reported missing by his family on April 22, 2014. His remains were discovered in Spring Lake on May 20, 2014.



Investigators never said how Guyton died.
