New Bern Avenue reopens after bus crash

RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- Raleigh police said one person was injured after a bus crashed on New Bern Avenue Saturday morning.

Authorities said it happened around 8:13 a.m. when a city bus and car crashed near WakeMed.

A section of New Bern Avenue west of the hospital was closed but is now open.

One person was taken to WakeMed with non-life-threatening injuries.
