Police: Suspect assaulted Raleigh bar employee

Surveillance images show an assault suspect that Raleigh police officers are working to find

Raleigh police are asking for the public's help identifying the man they say assaulted another man unprovoked at a downtown bar.

Police said the assault happened at the Foundation bar in the 200 block of Fayetteville Street on Sept. 7 just before 1 a.m.

The suspect reportedly struck and injured another man who was working at the bar, then the suspect fled on foot.

Police said the suspect is about 6 feet tall, and attempts to identify him have been unsuccessful.
