Clayton police seek help to ID mini-mart robber
Clayton police are seeking assistance to identify an armed robber who entered the Howard's Mini Mart on Barber Mill Road about 9 p.m. on Nov. 12.
Two employees reported that a man wearing a mask and brandishing a rifle came into the store, demanded cash, took some and then ran out. No one was injured.
Detectives and the Clayton Police K9 unit responded immediately and began to track the suspect, who likely fled in a vehicle.
Videotape of the incident shows the suspect enter the store and briefly drop his mask off his face as he searches the store for workers.
