ECU researcher warns about increased threat of shark attacks

Heads up if you're thinking about making summer plans at the beach.

A key shark researcher at East Carolina University says there's a greater threat of sharks this season.

Chuck Bangley warns there will be more of the ocean predators than normal off our coast.

He attributes that to the rise in warm water temperatures.

Last year, there were eight reported shark attacks in a matter of weeks.
