Fayetteville police: Man kills wife and then himself

FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- Fayetteville are investigating an apparent murder-suicide they say happened late Friday night.

Officers were called to the 100 block of Jones Street just before 10 p.m. for a well-being check.

When police arrived, they found a man and a woman dead inside the home. Police said Burrell Raines shot and killed his wife Gloria Raines before killing himself. Both were 60 years old.
