Wilson gold heist reward
The FBI is offering $25,000 for information about the gold heist in Wilson that happened on March 1.

WILSON, N.C. (WTVD) -- The FBI is now offering a $25,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of the suspects who stole nearly $5 million worth of gold bars on I-95.

On March 1, a truck carrying gold and silver left Miami for Boston. It pulled over in Wilson, after the passenger said he felt sick.

Officers said that's when two suspects tied both of the guards' hands and made off with the gold.

The FBI's reward is in addition to the $50,000 already being offered by the shipping company Transvalue
