Man found shot to death in Durham identified
DURHAM (WTVD) -- Police are investigating the death of a man after he was found dead in a car parked in the 1900 block Lakewood Avenue off Chapel Hill Road early Sunday.
Witnesses told ABC11 someone driving by noticed the driver's side door of the car open and a person partially lying outside of the vehicle.
Then they stopped to help, they realized the man was dead. It happened just before 7 a.m.
Police later identified the victim as 25-year-old Ricardo DeJesus Uribe Padilla of Durham. They said he was shot to death.
No charges have been filed at this time.
