PACKAGE TOSS

FedEx has apologized after a driver was caught on a home surveillance camera near Memphis, Tennessee throwing a package at the front door.

Luckily, the package contained a shirt, and it was not damaged.

The homeowners said their son heard the package hit the door, and that's when they reviewed the video.

FedEx said it's following up with the employee about the incident.

HOLIDAY LIGHTS

Northeast Ohio has its very own Clark Griswold.

Bob Mangan decks out his home with nearly 50,000 lights and holiday scenes. He starts setting them up in October and flips on the lights by Thanksgiving. The display stays up till the first week in January. It costs him about $500 in electricity bills.

SEAL RELEASED

An animal rescue team in Connecticut released a seal pup back into the ocean Thursday.

The pup - known as "Little Dipper" - spent several months at the rescue center after he was found in July. Staffers say the little guy was only six to eight weeks old and had been abandoned.

BIG BABY

A Colorado mom gave birth to a 13 pound 13 ounce baby girl this week. Doctors had predicted Mia would weigh in at about seven pounds. Mia's dad says her birth weight was more than the combined weight of his twin daughters.
