Police: 'All clear' in Cary Park after reports of man with gun

CARY, N.C. (WTVD) -- Cary Police said a man with a gun was walking around Cary Park, near Cary Glen Boulevard and Green Level Church Road.

Police said the scene was cleared around 3 p.m. They said it was a "medical issue," not a criminal one.

An eyewitness told ABC11 police have been walking around the neighborhood with guns drawn, asking residents to stay in their homes with their doors locked, but was not confirmed with police.

Cary Park is a residential subdivision.

There were no reports of shots fired or injuries.
