Thousands of wreaths laid for veterans in Raleigh

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- American veterans were honored across the country Saturday as thousands of wreaths were placed on graves.
In Raleigh, volunteers held a remembrance ceremony and then placed wreaths in Oakwood Cemetery.

The non-profit Wreaths Across America organizes the annual event. It's their mission to make sure people who fought for our country are not forgotten during the holiday season.
