Authorities investigate Cary house fire possibly caused by Tesla

CARY, N.C. (WTVD) -- Firefighters are investigating a house fire in Cary that may have started in the garage Monday night and spread to the home.

The fire occurred on Parkman Grant Drive, located off Carpenter Fire Station Road between Highway 55 and the Triangle Turnpike.

Authorities are working to confirm whether a Tesla parked inside the garage was involved in the blaze. No official cause of the fire has been determined yet.

No injuries were reported.
