DURHAM (WTVD) -- Larry Stogner is being honored at a place in Durham that's very close to his heart.
Nearly every morning for the last several years, Larry Stogner has walked his dogs to Sandy Creek Park and worked to keep the trails clean.
Last month, Larry joined a group to clean the nature trail on Pickett Road for Durham's 'Creek Week.'
Now, a Durham group wants to rename the trail the "Larry Stogner Trail." They're also trying to make the trail accessible to people with disabilities.
The group is accepting donations at the Keep Durham Beautiful website.
At the bottom of the form, select "Please use my donation for a Special Designation" and type in "Larry Stogner Trail".
