Countdown to spring with the First Alert Weather team

Our First Alert Weather Team is having a little fun counting down the days to Spring!

This year, spring officially arrives in North Carolina at 5:58 p.m. on Wednesday, March 20.

It will also be a full moon on March 20. The last full moon on the vernal equinox was in 2000, and the next one will occur in 2030.

And don't let the warm temperatures fool you. Raleigh has seen snow as late as May.
