Overnight weather forecast

RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- Highs this afternoon will range from the low to middle 80s with a mostly sunny sky. Enjoy the warmth because another cool-down is expected through the middle of the week.

A weak front moves in early on Tuesday keeping highs on the cooler side, in the lower 70s. Gusty winds will be a concern though, as gusts can reach 25-35mph at times. This, along with low humidity, could increase the risk of fires in some spots.

Another front pushes through on Wednesday, which will usher in even cooler air. High temperatures on Wednesday will top out in the upper 60s, and Thursday will feature highs around 70 degrees.

This weekend, seasonably warm weather returns as highs will rise into the 80s again by Friday, and that warmth continue all weekend. There is still some uncertainty whether or not we could get a couple of showers at the end of the weekend, but latest model runs have trended drier. Easter Day looks mainly dry right now with highs in the lower 80s.

Enjoy the warmth!
