/*Cumberland County*/ Sheriff's detectives arrested 17-year old Angel Santana and 16-year Jabish Reid, both of Hope Mills.
The victim, 18-year old Steven Michael of Fayetteville, was seriously injured after being struck in the mouth with a fist.
Dunning will have to undergo extensive surgery to correct gum and bone damage believed to have been caused by a retainer he was wearing at the time of the attack.
Investigators say the teens asked the victim if he would like to play a game of slap boxing. When Dunning refused, Santana allegedly assaulted him.
Dunning told investigators others were involved, but he could not identify them.
Santana and Reid are charged with assault inflicting serious bodily injury.
