Police arrest downtown robbery suspect

Durham Police have found the person they think robbed a man in a downtown parking garage.Harry Massey, Jr. is facing charges for having a stolen cell phone.

Police say the phone belongs to a 54-year-old man who was jumped by Massey and three other men on November 24 around 8:15 p.m.

The robbery happened as the man was getting on a elevator in the parking garage on Corcoran Street next to Self-Help Credit Union.

The man told police four males approached him, punched him repeatedly on his head and face before taking his wallet, cash and two cell phones.

Massey is charged with possessing the stolen cell phone on the day after the robbery occurred.
