He did say there is some surveillance tape deputies are reviewing.
The vandals got in through a window in the old part of the courthouse and urinated on desks and the floor in the clerk's office and an old courtroom.
They also scattered trash in a courtroom. It's unclear if anything was stolen.
Officials say court went on as normal Thursday despite the mess.
"Somebody said this morning it's like somebody breaking into the jail. You wonder what were they trying to accomplish," offered Captain Charles Blackwood.
