Around the same time, a second officer responded to a call at the Pet Milk and Ice Cream Company located on William St. He discovered three locks cut off of a truck.
Officers discovered a large amount of ice cream, in various flavors, in the backpack of the teen who was seen on George Street around 1:24 a.m.
When asked his address, 16-year-old Jodeci Rivers told police the "streets of Goldsboro."
The ice cream company was not able to salvage any of ice cream.
Rivers is charged with felony breaking and entering, felony larceny after breaking and entering, possession of stolen goods, possession of burglary tools and misdemeanor damage to property.
He is being held under $17,500 bond.
