Fayetteville firefighters say the homeowner is a Civil War buff, and had the relics inside. When they got inside - and saw the ordinance - they evacuated the building and called in the Fort Bragg bomb squad.
It turned out the old artillery was not live. The evacuation was lifted once the fire was brought under control.
