Murchison is charged with 15 counts of first-degree rape of a child, 15 counts of taking indecent liberties with a child, and 15 counts of incest.
According to investigators, the child's mother was unaware of the crimes until her daughter told her what happened.
He is being held under a $1.5 million bond and was scheduled to make a first court appearance Friday.
