Woman found 19 hours after wreck

BURLINGTON The Times-News of Burlington reported that the children were riding bicycles when the discovered 38-year-old Sandra Elaine Fuller Sunday. Authorities said she crawled out to a roadside.

Although she was dehydrated, her injuries did not appear life threatening. She was taken to UNC Hospitals.

Highway Patrol Trooper R. J. Fuquay told Eyewitness News Fuller admitted she had a couple of beers before dropping off her friend shortly before midnight Saturday.

Fuquay said Fuller rolled off a curving two-lane road, sailed past a mobile home vacant on the holiday weekend, and down a hill leading to a small creek. The SUV was covered by trees and brush and invisible from the road.

Charges are pending.
