Raleigh delaying tiered water rates

RALEIGH The city council voted Tuesday to delay the start of tiered rates for another seven months.

Under the plan residents will have to pay a higher rate for the more water they use.

The City wanted to get the plan started in December, but the city manager said they don't have the people or technology to get started.
