Man arrested in Henderson murder

HENDERSON Shamon Champion, 23, is charged with first-degree murder in the August 23 killing of Robert Newsome at the intersection of Highland Ave and E. Rockspring Street in Henderson.

Champion was caught after police got a Crimestoppers tip that he was living in an apartment complex.

He's being held without bond.
