The jury returned the indictments against Neelis Smith Tuesday.
Smith is one of two former sheriff's office supervisors who were accused of billing the local school system and other government employers for security work taking place at different locations and the same time.
Smith and former Capt. LaRue Windham were fired in March 2008. The State Bureau of Investigation continues to work on Windham's case.
