As a past open heart surgery patient, he wants the mayors and all Rolesville residents to be heart healthy. He exercises at his local athletic club and walks the trails in Rolesville's parks.
"Help stimulate the local economy by using the local exercise businesses," he said.
Eagles says the holidays is always a time when many overeat. He says his challenge is about losing those extra pounds. He's hoping other mayors issue challenges to their residents too.
