Matthew Keith Hutcheson, 27, faces a first-degree murder charge.
Police identified the victim as 32-year-old Duwone Parker. Parker's mother reported him missing Tuesday afternoon.
She said family members last saw him alive on February 25.
The medical examiner's office is conducting an autopsy to find out how Parker died.
