Police say a car was pulled over because of a mechanical issue, and the driver and a passenger were looking under the hood when another car rear-ended the disabled vehicle.
The driver and the passenger were hit during that collision and taken to the hospital. There is no word on their injuries.
The driver of the second car was not injured.
Police have not said if any charges will be filed.
