Suspect wanted for two Raleigh robberies

RALEIGH

The first robbery was on March 29. Just before 9 p.m., police say the suspect entered the Marathon Star Mart at 1641 Glenwood Avenue and robbed the clerk at gunpoint. He left the store on foot.

The second robbery happened around 10:30 p.m. on April 1. Police say the suspect entered the Pantry at 3721 Tryon Road, showed a gun and robbed the clerk. Like the first robbery, he left the store on foot.

The suspect is a black male in his 20s to 30swith medium to dark complexion. He has a slender to medium build, stands between 5' 8" and 6' tall, and had a narrow moustache and beard. In both robberies, he wore dark clothing, including a hooded jacket or hat.
