Parking lot crash leaves man with burns

RALEIGH Raleigh police say the man involved was pulling into the lot off Singleton Industrial Drive around 4:45 a.m. when he slammed into the back of a big rig.

The car caught on fire while the man was still inside.

He was taken to the UNC Jaycee Burn Center in Chapel Hill.

Police tell us he is expected to survive, though they have not released his name or exact condition.
