Unexploded device discovered in Nash County

NASH COUNTY They say someone uncovered the device just west of Middlesex on Driver Road shortly after 11 a.m. Monday.

The bomb squad has been called to the scene to investigate, and the SBI took the grenade from the scene.

Authorities say they do not know how it ended up there.
