Cumberland County Sheriff's detectives arrested 38-year-old Carlos Jose Vega on Monday. He has been charged with statutory rape, second-degree forcible sex offense and taking indecent liberties with a child.
The victim told authorities the incidents happened Saturday and Sunday, when Vega allegedly came into her bedroom and touched her inappropriately.
Further details about the incidents and the relationship between the pair have not been released.
Vega is being held in the Cumberland County Detention Center under a $75,000 bond.
