A passenger on Delta flight 904 reportedly found an airsick bag with the word "bomb" written on it.
The flight was originally scheduled to leave at 7:42 p.m., but was delayed while authorities did a security sweep of the plane with bomb sniffing dogs.
Officials did not find anything, and passengers on board said they were kept well informed of what was happening.
The plane was cleared for takeoff around 9:30 p.m.
