The Nuclear Regulatory Commission says the plant is now operating at seven percent of capacity.
The plant was shut down last month after a flaw was found in the reactor.
Officials say there was no danger to the public.
The plant was also shut down in May after an inspection revealed early signs of corrosion and cracking in the reactor vessel.
