Police say John McLeod threatened to burn down his house with his wife and two children inside Sunday./p>
He allegedly put a lit butane tank against the couple's house on Jackie Hood Lane, in order to prevent his wife and children from leaving./p>
When McLeod's 15-year-old son put his 7-year-old sister into the car, police say McLeod took the lit butane tank and put it underneath the car./p>
No one was hurt. McLeod is jailed without bond on attempted murder charger, second-degree kidnapping and arson.
