At approximately 9:28 a.m. Wednesday, a male entered the a branch of the First Citizens Bank located at 206 Carthage St. in Sanford.
He approached a bank teller and told her he wanted to make a withdrawal. He then positioned his hands inside his jacket to suggest he possessed a weapon.
The suspect then fled the bank.
