Dail gets check for false imprisonment

RALEIGH

North Carolina will pay Dwayne Dail $368,493 for the mistake.

By law he gets $20,000 for each year he spent in prison. The 39-year-old was released from prison in August after DNA evidence proved he didn't rape a 12-year-old Goldsboro girl in 1987.
