Snow hits North Carolina

Roxboro gets hit first with the season's second snow fall.

Person County Commissioner Kyle W. Puryear says that almost two inches of snow has fell in northern Person County in communty of Triple Springs near the Virginia boarder.

"It has been snowing since 9:00 p.m. and the roads are completely covered in snow. People need to drive with caution on the roads in the county," Puryear said.

Snow showers to move through central piedmont until 2 a.m.
